> After patiently waiting for this day, the Centennial JV softball team was itching to finally get out on the field. Despite the 30° weather, their bats were red hot in their 17-7 victory over Champlin Park, scoring 7 runs in the first inning. Whether it was Allison Hemming laying down a perfect bunt to advance the runners, or Dori Arndt and Callie Casura with 3 RBI's a piece, everyone did their part to keep the offense motoring through all 7 innings as the Cougars advanced to 1-0 on the season.
